I visited Gendarmenmarkt, called the most beautiful square of Europe. Its architecture style dates from the 1600s. The place is incredible.

A Breakfast to tie you into Dinner |

I had breakfast at La Esquina. Their specialty is a large platter of cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit, home baked breads and sweet rolls. The price was unbelievably cheap.

I was in Berlin for 10 days in March 2009.
DO:
KaDeWe. This is a MUST actually. Basically a department store, but really 7 stories of wonder. Head to the 6th floor and attempt to choose something to eat. Price: 25 Euros for lunch and wine.
Via Condotti. Italian restaurant (Fasanenstr. 73). Authentic, quaint, amazing.
Express by Holiday Inn. IF you are you in age, young in mind or only buy budget. Very functional, clean hotel, no frills but everything you need. Decent location.
DON'T
Museum at Check Point Charlie: 12.50 Euro that is not worth it. Its like whenever they got a new artifact they just added it to any open space they had on the wall. No organization.
