Chicago Overview
Home to the Cubs, Wrigley Field, the Lincoln Park Zoo, dozens of museums, the Sears Tower and acres of beautiful parks, Chicago has some for everyone. Stroll under canopy trees in Hyde Park or enjoy a ride all the way up to the top of the Sears Tower. Visit Wrigley Field to watch a Cubs game or head to the theater district for a show. Visit the square of the old World’s Fair and learn about the Great Fire. Take a tour to discover the history of Chicago’s Water Tower- one of the few buildings that survived the Great Fire. Take a bike tour through Chicago’s neighborhoods and parks or enjoy the beach on Lake Michigan.
Go downtown and get swept up in Chicago’s nightlife. Any club, lounge, bar, blues or jazz club is sure to keep you dancing all night long. If you’re a history buff make sure to visit the plethora of museums. Most are open everyday and some even offer free admission. For a fun family trip spend the day at the Museum Campus where you can view the Aquarium with Beluga whales, dolphins, penguins and even watch the daily feeding. After viewing taking a look at what’s under the ocean’s surface head to the planetarium and gaze up at the sky as you fly into space in the theater. The Field Museum is home to people of the past: mummies, Egyptian tombs, dinosaur skeletons and the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil.
