Chicago is the perfect place for a weekend getaway |
Chicago is a great city to get away to. It's got the hustle and bustle of New York and LA, without the high prices and attitudes you can find in the big city:
These are the things I always do when I am in chicago: visit the former Marshall Field's and have dinner upstairs, go to Bar Celona in Chicago, hang out in Grant Park, wander around Lincoln Park trying different beers, do lots of shopping on State St. and take long walks that lead to me discovering lots of cool new neighborhoods.

Check out the Neighborhoods |
|
Chicago is a great city, but you have to check out the neighborhoods, like Lakeview, Lincoln Park, etc. This is where the real people live. There is always something to do, and the restaurants are great. Try Orange for Bruch, and Joey's Brickhouse is a nice little spot.
