Las Vegas Dining
Las Vegas hosts a variety of food from all over the world. Experience everything from Southern cooking to French cuisine to its regional Tex-Mex food. Even the pickiest eater will be able to find the perfect place to eat. Don’t forget to check out the endless buffets at many of the casinos. Las Vegas is a melting pot of gourmet food to satisfy any palate.
For the art lover, be sure to visit Picasso where you can view his unique paintings while dining. Ask for a seat near the window to watch the Bellagio fountain show during dinner. The menu is prix fixe with a variety of expertly chosen wines to accompany each meal.
If you are looking for an elegant dining experience visit the Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian Las Vegas. This surf-n-turf restaurant is known for its Bone-in Rib Eye, Double Cut pork chops and Baked jumbo Gulf shrimp. Celebrity chef, Emeril Lagasse, serves up his best steak and seafood dishes while using organic ingredients. Be sure to save room for peach cobbler or banana cream pie for dessert.
If you’re in the mood for French cuisine be sure to head to Le Village Buffet at Paris Las Vegas. Tour the five provinces of Paris without ever having to reach for your passport. Each province is broken up into stations along the buffet and decorated according to the regions architecture. La Raclette offers the traditional French bread and cheeses, while La Grillade shows off France’s meat and seafood cuisine. The Brittany station will whip up any crepe combination you can think of. Normandy offers a variety of seafood and next to it Burgundy features a plethora of meats from the region. Be sure to visit the dessert station, which overflows with all things chocolate and gourmet pastries.
Stop by The Ritz-Carlton for high tea served every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Enjoy 12 types of Mighty Leaf loose teas, as well as six types of flowering teas, which produce a picturesque scene in your teacup when poured. All teas are served with four kinds of tea sandwiches, an assortment of desserts and freshly baked scones with mascarpone cream, lemon curd, jams and marmalades.
For a taste of Asian cuisine be sure to visit Chinois Las Vegas at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Created by Wolfgang Puck, this multi-level restaurant caters to the early birds and the late night clubbers. Fresh sushi is created on the spot and dishes are large enough to share. Located across from FAO Schwarz it is the perfect place to take children and enjoy people watching.
