Century Park Lane Movies - A Great Diversion |
I'm a movie buff and a movie I wanted to see was premiering while I was in Reno. They had a great selection of the newest flicks and it was a great escape from my poker game at my hotel's casino.

Got Hitched at Reno's Agape Love Wedding Chapel |
My girlfriend and I wanted a spontaneous wedding so while we were in Reno, we decided to get married at Reno's Agape Love Wedding Chapel. We were in and out within a half-hour and we got some great photos to boot!If

Great value for the money |
I went to Reno twice in spring/summer 2008. I suggest using it as a base. The hotels are inexpensive for what you get (Grand Sierra, Silver Legacy, Peppermill). Head to Virginia city one day, Carson city for a walking tour and to see the museum/mint, Tahoe for kayaking the next, the downtown of Reno is an amazing surprise, the Truckee river runs through it and there is a whitewater park where people kayak and just hang out! There are also wine and pub crawls.
