Seattle Shopping

Seattle offers many shopping options. There are large malls, huge outlet venues and quaint boutiques. There are also markets where you can shop, enjoy the scenery and dine on great cuisine.

Shopping Centers
Pacific Place is ideal for Seattle shopping. It’s the newest upscale mall. You’ll find great chain stores like Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Tiffany’s.

Tip: Don’t miss the cooking demonstrations and product sampling at Williams Sonoma. During the Christmas Season, you can sample great selections of hot chocolates and mulled wine.

Westlake Center is another venue for spending a fun day Seattle shopping. Locals love to hang out at the food court. It’s said to be the best in town. Bombay Wala Indian cuisine tops the list of favorites. You’ll find stores like Talbot’s, Montblanc and Children’s Place. There’s something for every member of the family.

And if you like large complexes, another great choice for Seattle shopping is the University Village. It’s somewhat different in that it houses specialty boutiques rather than large department stores. You’ll find Victoria’s Secret for fine lingerie and Crate & Barrel for the best home accessories. There are also fun places like Anthropolgie selling vintage clothing as well as gardening accessories and outdoor furnishings.

But if you’re looking for the convenience of large department stores, Westfield South Center has them all. The center is home to Nordstrom, Sears, Macy’s, J.C Penney’s and Mervyn’s. There are also 160 shops and restaurants including the Rainforest Café. Have lunch in a make-belief rain forest surrounded by giant gorillas and reptiles. It’s a must see.

First Hill Shopping Center with its small boutiques and
Historical attractions are not to be missed.

Homing Instinct is another fine shop in this neighborhood. It’s located in a Victorian style home and sells unique accessories for the house.
