(Remains of Harod’s Palace)
It seems to be a common picture, but very few people know that the wrecked wall has been there for two thousand years. It witnessed the up and down of an ancient city, Caesarea, and reminds visitors of the history of human beings: built, destroyed and rebuilt.
Existing people are the main power to adjust the direction of our history. There are still so many wars/riots/conflicts throughout the world. I wish they would go to Caesarea to listen to the history and think about the future, like the peaceful birds in the picture sitting on the wreck.
