Branson Dining

Dining in Branson is an experience like no other. Along with amazing Midwestern style food, you’ll find that people in Branson don’t just sit down to eat at a table, they engage in multiple activities, all exciting, while partaking in a great meal.

Dinner Shows
Dinner shows are a fun way to learn about the region’s culture and the country’s history while dining in Branson. At the Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show, you can participate in a historical battle between the north and south, while having a delightful four-course-meal, with your hands. There are pre-dinner performances which include ostrich races, trick riding, children’s chicken chase and special singing and dancing. The menu includes hickory smoked barbecued pork loin, hot buttered corn on the cob, and unlimited soda, tea or coffee. A vegetarian menu is also available. The four-course dinner includes home-made biscuits and Dixie’s specialty dessert.

Even the locals continue coming to these fun dinner shows, and they all agree that Tall Timber Lumberjack Show is among the best dining in Branson. Enjoy a 90-minute show where two lumberjack camps battle out while competing in a series of games ranging from wood chopping to log rolling. Tall Timber tender grilled steak and mesquite grilled chicken are among the specialties. Make sure to ask for the Wood Chip cake, served on real lumberjack style tin plates.

If, however, you are in the mood for elegant dining, then the Candlestick Inn is a must. With its cozy fireplace, beautiful views and amazing food, you won’t go wrong. The owners firmly believe in offering quality food with creativity at fair prices. This is definitely reflected in the fine menu and extensive wine list. You may even pop in for lunch and enjoy patio dining, while overlooking Lake Taneycomo. It’s no wonder it received the “Best overall Branson restaurant” award and the “Best Special Occasion Restaurant” award. This definitely qualifies as the best in dining in Branson.

Tip: Try the trout almandine, a boneless trout fillet, encrusted with maple-roasted almonds, baked with duchesse potatoes and maple sherry beurre blanc.

What a better way to wow your significant other than with a cruise on a 100’ luxury yacht! Or you could take a cruise in a modern day riverboat replica while enjoying a romantic dinner. At the end, you’ll see the most amazing attraction that synchronizes water, lights, sound and fire. This is definitely a unique dining in Branson experience.

Casual Dining
For great international flavor and fabulous Mediterranean cuisine, Zoey’s is the place to go. It’s beautifully decorated and reasonably priced. Try the Moussaka, a great Greek delicacy, prepared to perfection by its chef.

A favorite of everyone is Tony Z’s Italian Ristorante & Lounge, where you can enjoy real Italian style pizza, superb Italian submarine sandwiches such as eggplant parmigiana and authentic traditional soups like Italian Wedding soup, made with miniature meatballs, spinach, and pastina pasta in a delightful chicken broth. Everything in Branson is an experience, even dining.
