Cabo San Lucas Dining

Dining in this beautiful town is perhaps the best part of the magical experience.  Along with superb seafood you’ll find an international food scene that makes Cabo San Lucas a world-class destination.

Elegant
When it comes to décor, Mexican restaurant owners take this task seriously.  La Perla is a fine example of this fact.  Its rich wood interior and romantic beach side terrace is one more reason why visitors and locals frequent this venue.  And when it comes to the menu, you’ll find that it offers a vast array of shellfish and seafood to please the most discriminating eater.  Don’t miss the wine list, with limited editions vintage offerings from around the globe.

Celebrities and presidents are said to enjoy dining in Cabo San Lucas, especially at a place like the Twelve Tribes Restaurant.  This unique establishment is known for cuisine inspired by the Bible’s twelve tribes.  If focuses on the use of grains, seeds and savory herbs.  Among the signature dishes guests can enjoy roasted duck with apple sauce, rack of lamb and sea bass filet with horseradish.  And the side dishes are nothing short of fabulous.  You’ll find items like Persian rice and tahini on the menu.

Scenic
An icon among the best choices for dining in Cabo San Lucas is the Double Eagle Restaurant.  It’s one of the most recognized names and boasts excellent gastronomy at affordable prices.  It not only offers a la carte dining but a fun selection of themes.  Everyone enjoys “grill night” as well as “Mexican fiesta night.”  Seafood is not the only choice though; there are mouthwatering steaks as well.  Choose a table by the window for a view of the desert’s cacti and colorful flora.

Tip:  Try the fried bananas or the rice pudding for dessert.  You can dance the calories away and perhaps enjoy a second treat.

The Captain’s waterfront is also a fun place to eat.  Their motto is if you catch it, they prepare it.  But if you spend the day on other adventures or just relaxing, come and dine on delicious Mexican food.

Casual
Meat lovers also get to savor the best of dining in Cabo San Lucas.   Los Corsarios Steakhouse & Sports Bar prepares succulent Angus prime beef with absolute perfection.  And the chef has created a variety of house dressings to complement the fresh and crispy salads featured on the menu.  If there’s a game, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the 52-inch plasma televisions while sipping on a cocktail or eating great fare.

Another place to try is Fish & Shrimp Cabo, where the scenery is outstanding and the food is sublime.  You can sit in the dining room or out on the waterfront terrace and watch the large yachts come and go.  The menu’s versatility is said to appeal to every palate.  There’s Mexican style seafood as well as several American favorites.  Don’t miss the ceviche or grilled Mahi Mahi.  They also offer a nice selection of beers alongside the list of fine wines.
