And if you enjoy traveling in order to admire different architectural styles, do see the Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopalian Church. It was completed in 1913 in the style of Gothic revival. The exterior is just as impressive as the interior.
Clearwater attractions include museums of different themes. The Dunedin Historical Society and Museum is quite interesting. You’ll find its location important as it sits on an old railroad system which dates back to 1889. It showcases more than 2,000 items, photographs and a library with 200 volumes relating the region’s history.
Don’t miss the Safety Harbor Museum of Regional History. It’s not a repetition of what you’ve seen before at other Clearwater attractions. Its exhibits include archaeological discoveries dating from prehistoric times through the days of the pioneers. The museum itself sits on an ancient Indian mound and was designed like an old colonial home.
